Thanks and Pinellas Park Parade Info

Thanks in advance to everyone for taking time out to decorate our float and allow your scout to participate in the parade this coming Saturday Dec. 8 in their class A uniform. Pinellas Park had the parade meeting tonight the theme is dancing to the music. Bob Robertson secured at 20 ft float, we will decorate it Saturday morning the day of the Parade. Please come to Clearview United Methodist Church Saturday 10:00am until 12:00 noon to help decorate the float. Bring garland, lights, lights, more lights, and any other decorations you are willing to loan to the Pack to help decorate the float. Our line up number is 119. We are assigned to line up at corner of 64th Way and Park Blvd (remember 64th Way is between 64th St and 65th St). I will be there with our float at 4:30pm, Scouts and family can come any time from then until 6:00pm (Parade starts at 6:00pm and we will not be able to wait if anyone is late). Please try to be there by 5:45 (yes as always siblings are welcome). We have four cases of beads for the kids to toss out. The parade will end at Home Depot/Park Side Mall you can have someone pick you up there and/or I will drive the float back to near our starting point so you can get your car. Remember every Scout MUST be accompanied by an adult partner, the adult partner is responsible for their Scout, the adult need not even be a relative but an adult sent with the Scout by his parent/guardian. The parade asked us to remind everyone there is to be only ONE Santa (the real one I think) in the parade, no one is allowed to dress like him.

Thank you all again for everything you do, giving your time, being supportive of each other, and so much more …

Saturday Events

Hello Cub Scouts!

This is just a reminder about this Saturday's events, 11/10. In the morning we have Bags In, collection of food donations, starting around 9am. We will split into groups and get an assigned area to pick up the bags. Again, we need drivers.

Then, Saturday evening, the Boy Scouts have invited us to their Cracker Barrel. This is a flag retirement ceremony / campfire. This should begin when it gets dark (but the Boy Scouts are known for being late, I'd say 6:30-7 ish). To thank us for helping with the Pumpkin Patch the Church is providing pizza and we will also have s'mores! Bring your own chairs. Come enjoy the campfire and fellowship with other scouts and families! All are welcome! Should be perfect weather for a fire.

Please join us in one or both activities. See you there, and don't forget to sign in!

Thanks for All the Help !

Thank you all for coming to the pumpkin patch, hope everyone got cleaned up and kids in bed (they should sleep well tonight). If you were not able to be there we missed you and look forward to seeing you in 2 weeks on Oct. 17 for another truck and more hotdogs. It is still early in the year and we are adding boys to the pack, as you can tell from the roster we made 3 new dens and have good leaders for each new den.

There is a leaders meeting this Friday at Clearview United Methodist Church (CUMC) at 6:00pm, please come if you can. We plan upcoming events, get ideas for your den meeting, and you will find out about the October pack meeting party. If you did not get your dens popcorn packet please come to the leader meeting to get it, whoever has the extras (Laura?) please send it to the meeting.

Thanks again, remember it’s all of you who make our Pack an awesome Pack, and I appreciate all your hard work.
